below.
Ask
your present teacher which one describes your present Math Course of
study. Then proceed to enter the number in the field below.
You will be placed in:
- a) Integrated Algebra 1: If you are presently studying a Regular 8th grade Math Curriculum.
b) *Integrated Algebra 1 Honors: If you are presently studying a Regular 8th grade Math Curriculum and your grades are excellent. *You must have your present
math teacher fill out and return the "Algebra Honors" form that you received in the mailing from St. Francis Preparatory.
- **Integrated Geometry: You are presently studying Integrated Algebra in Eighth Grade with the intention of taking the New York State Regents in June 2013. ****You must bring your report card to St. Francis Preparatory in June. The report card must contain your Algebra 1 regents grade. ****You may bring the report card to St. Francis on June 24th, June 25th or June 26th. Unless you bring the report card you will not be placed in Geometry.
- Integrated Algebra 2: If you are presently studying Integrated Geometry in Eighth grade with the intention of taking the New York State Regents in June 2013. You must bring your report card to St. Francis Preparatory in June. The report card must contain your Geometry regents grade. You may bring the report card to St. Francis on June 24th, June 25th or June 26th. Unless you bring the report card you will not be placed in Integrated Algebra 2.
- In order for any student to be advanced to Geometry as a 9th grader ,here at the Prep, must take the Algebra Assessment test on June 1, 2013 at 8:30a.m. here at the Prep. This assessment in conjunction with your Algebra Regents grade will decide whether you can advance to Geometry as a 9th grader.
